2016 Membership & Sponsorship Campaign Kicks Off with ”I Love the 80s” Party

campaign_graphic_2016Gwinnett Chamber’s Membership & Sponsorship Campaign, chaired by Sherwood McDuffie of SunTrust Bank, and Dorsey Grist of United Community Bank, kicked-off Thursday, Aug. 18, at The 1818 Club with an “I Love the ’80s” party featuring music, trivia and dancing.

As in previous years, this year’s campaign, themed “I Love The ’80s,” will highlight the many successes we’ve achieved while setting our teams up for victory yet again in 2016. More than 100 of the Chamber’s top member volunteers are already at work to make – and break – our most aggressive goal yet: $1,275,000 in new sponsorships and memberships.

The “I Love The ’80s” campaign offers a multitude of opportunities for engagement, including everything from broad-based membership meetings and numerous small business initiative and programs, multiple awards and recognition celebrations, to the 1,000+ attended Annual Dinner event, the Button Down Dash 5K/10K, our many publications and more – all designed with business and community growth in mind.

The campaign will continue through the fall with reward sessions held every other Thursday at various locations around the county and at the Victory Celebration in January, where we will celebrate the top producers. Volunteers who generate $21,000 or more will earn sunshine and serenity during the reward trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in February.
