Helping your business succeed is the business of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce

Our Vision: The Gwinnett Chamber’s vision is simple – we’re about success.  Your success. Your company’s success. And our community’s success. That’s why our community’s motto is “Success Lives Here.” And the Chamber’s servant-leadership role is captured in our motto, “In Business For You.”

Our Reputation: Named one of the top three metro chambers in the United States by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, the Gwinnett Chamber is one of the largest and most dynamic business and regional economic development organizations in the Southeastern U.S.  The Gwinnett Chamber is also the 6th largest Chamber in the Southeast and one of the top 10 fastest growing chambers in the nation.

Our Membership: With more than 7,200 members from over 2,000 companies representing a combined employment of more than 750,000 employees and more than $200 billion in revenue, the Gwinnett Chamber is a leader in job creation and retention, community development, and in growing local businesses for Gwinnett County, and the metro Atlanta and Innovation Crescent regions of Georgia.  Regional in scope, approximately 32 percent of our members headquartered outside of Gwinnett County.

Our Small Business Focus: Unlike most Chambers our size, we are focused on entrepreneurial and growth-stage companies and nearly 80 percent of our members are small businesses with less than 50 employees. Most of our programs are designed with the small business owner and entrepreneur in mind.

Our Core Competencies: The Gwinnett Chamber works in six areas: economic development, small business and entrepreneurial development, education, public policy, membership development and communications. Our community development efforts also promote the arts, revitalization, law enforcement and leadership development.

Our Job Creation Results: The Gwinnett Chamber houses the largest regional economic development department in Georgia and leads the community’s long-term, public-private economic and community development strategy called Partnership Gwinnett. Since its inception more than 60 companies relocated or expanded major new facilities in Gwinnett, accounting for more than 5,000 new high-wage jobs and hundreds of millions in new capital investment. We are the only economic development organization in the state representing and promoting Gwinnett as well as Georgia’s Innovation Crescent region from Atlanta to Athens.

Our Public Policy Results: The Gwinnett Chamber’s public policy team mobilizes partners at the local, regional and statewide level to ensure we remain the best place in the nation to live, work, play, and raise a family. Over the years, the Chamber has been instrumental in securing billions of dollars for transportation, education and parks and recreation for Gwinnett as well as reducing taxes and regulations on business at the state level.

Our Membership Results: The biggest benefits to membership include networking opportunities, community involvement, image enhancement, political advocacy, information access, numerous discounts, and heightened credibility. Most of the 200+ programs offered each year to members are focused on these areas and past research has shown that the average member more than recoups their annual investments through savings and new customers acquired.

Our Commitment to Community: The Chamber's financial support comes from its members through voluntary investments based on size and type of organization and sponsorships. As a non-profit, all revenue is re-invested back into membership or community development programs – both local and regional.
