Apprenticeship Programs in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett’s corporate leaders of tomorrow are our students today.

Apprenticeship programs are valuable in helping students to make informed decisions about their career choices through hands-on training. Such programs enable Gwinnett’s high school students to more easily make the connection between the classroom and the world of work.

Students in the apprenticeship program explore such careers as technical engineering, information management, marketing, human services, health and medical services, agriscience, or automotive services.

Businesses that have supported this program include Siemens Corporation, Gwinnett Medical Center, Georgia Power Company, AT&T, Kroger Pharmacies, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, to name a few.

Students interested in such apprenticeships should contact their local school system.
