After graduating from college, I spent many years with the world’s leading gasoline pump manufacturer. At the outset, convenience stores and self-service operations were being introduced, later, credit card readers, cash acceptors, and multi-hose dispensers. Transitioning from corporate to entrepreneurial, Identity Promotional Products was established in 2002. As an advertising specialty distributor we market the full complement of decorated apparel (ala shirts, t-shirts, jackets, sweaters, hats) and imprinted items (think pens, desk items, drink ware, etc.).
Why I am a Chamber Ambassador:
Serving as an Ambassador offers the opportunity to espouse the virtues and offerings of this vibrant association, at the same time, allowing for introductions to the community business and government leadership. Prospective members have a good story to tell and have an interest in speaking with someone who has “skin-in-the-game” other than staff associates. Chamber events, where volunteers are needed, such as Network Gwinnett, allow one to step up and be accommodating in a respected fashion.
