Description
Economic Development
This department encourages the expansion of existing businesses through information services, real estate assistance, tax and incentive assistance, labor assistance and initiatives such as Partnership Gwinnett while continuing to solicit and provide services to new commercial and industrial businesses in Gwinnett. The department is also the lead economic development agency for Gwinnett County recruiting new business to the area. 770-232-8802.
Education Forum

Leadership Gwinnett
This is an exclusive and prestigious program that provides a diverse group of existing and emerging leaders with a unique opportunity to experience many of the challenges facing Gwinnett. It is a nine-month program that includes seven one-day sessions, two retreats and more. In addition to leadership training and development, the program provides a behind-the-scenes look into the following areas: Government, Education, Power, Growth and Development, Health and Human Services, Justice, and Regional Issues. 770-232-8803
Partnership Gwinnett Summit
The Partnership Gwinnett Summit is an annual event that provides a unique opportunity to meet with leaders from both the public and private sectors guiding the economic and community development of Gwinnett. Panel presentations and discussions featuring leading local and state experts will address overall economic viability of Gwinnett County along with special sessions on workforce development, healthcare, education, tourism, and more. 678-957-4944
Principal for a Day
Principal for a Day is a joint venture of the Gwinnett County Board of Education and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Its objective is to provide CEO-level business leaders a firsthand, authentic look at the operations of today’s schools and the principals who lead them. They will observe up close and personal the rewards, challenges, and satisfaction that come with being the instructional and managerial leader of a modern public school. 770-232-8803
State of the County Address
This annual luncheon co-hosted by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and the Council for Quality Growth is an overview on the County’s efforts in economic development, revitalization, public safety, and transportation. Attendees also have the opportunity to find out how the County is working to improve the overall quality of life for Gwinnett citizens.

Gwinnett Student Leadership Team identifies and develops young leaders within the Gwinnett community who have demonstrated leadership skills, an emerging civic sense, and a willingness to serve their schools and community.
Transportation & Environmental Meetings
