The Gwinnett Health Care Council is an association of health care industry leaders working together to further establish Gwinnett County’s leadership position within Metro Atlanta.
The Council promotes the continued growth of Gwinnett’s health care industry by fostering a supportive operating environment for existing, start-up and relocating healthcare businesses. Through educational programs (2 x year), the Council provides executives with timely information on key operational and policy challenges facing health care organizations and companies, as well as networking and mentoring activities.
Who Belongs?
The Council’s membership includes organizations that are leaders in hospital management, medical practices, pharmaceutical services, academic medicine, medical technology and health information technology, with a wide-ranging expertise in the health care industry.

Council programs and events provide executives with valuable information to help make better business decisions and other networking and mentoring opportunities.
- Briefings with healthcare policymakers and business leaders
- Educational programs that will focus on major challenges facing the medical/health care industry
- Workshops/panel discussions that could feature such topics as workforce recruiting, M&A strategies, physician recruiting practices and Wall Street’s view of the health care industry.
