The Gwinnett Medical Alliance (GMed) operates under the umbrella of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. Committed to fostering coalescence among medical, government and business stakeholders, GMed offers a forum for consensus building with healthcare providers, insurers, educators and medical suppliers to provide a neutral exchange of trade issues.

The scope of GMed encompasses business, political and societal issues and concerns with respect for all of the participants and their constituents.

General meetings of the alliance are held quarterly and feature a social hour followed by a presentation whose topic will be of interest to all of the members and whose message will offer solutions to the challenges facing healthcare professionals. Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are now available for physicians attending the GMed events.
