Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity
Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity plans to build its 90th house in Gwinnett County by the end of 2007. The organization builds throughout Gwinnett County. With volunteers and donations from the community, the organization creates affordable housing in partnership with selected low-income families and the Gwinnett community. Each family purchases their home via an interest-free mortgage and is required to put in 300 to 400 hours of “sweat equity” before closing on their home.
