Description of my career:
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Georgia in 1981, and began my career as a retail advertising copywriter for five years. I then transitioned into sales and marketing. After spending several years as marketing director for a local CPA firm, I joined MIS Solutions in May of this year. I serve as their sales executive, and am responsible for business development and client relations as well as advertising and marketing for the company. MIS Solutions was founded in 1995 and provides a full range of computer network support and information technology consulting services for small to mid-sized companies.
Why I am a Chamber Ambassador:
The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce has been invaluable to me, both personally and professionally, and serving as an Ambassador has allowed me to “pay it forward” by mentoring several up-and-coming sales representatives and entrepreneurs and helping new Chamber members make strategic connections with fellow members.
