David Brackman began Self Defense ATL about a year ago.  Self Defense ATL promotes safety among the general public and sells products that could possibly save your life.    Self Defense ATL distributes personal safety and self defense products such as C2 Tasers (similar to what police carry but for personal use), stun guns, pepper sprays and an assortment of personal protection devices.

Self Defense ATL provides safety seminars across the state of Georgia.  David enjoys helping people find their comfort zone with self-defense products.  After being semi-retired and an avid hiker, David was drawn to this particular line of work due to the recent crime spree in the North Georgia Mountains (particularly the Meredith Emerson case).

David has a wife of 33 years and two lovely twin daughters who are grown and married.  Their family has lived in metro Atlanta for over 30 years.

David is a graduate of Athens Technical School where he received a diploma in Graphic Arts.  He established offset printing businesses in Athens, Atlanta and Norcross which he successfully owned and operated and sold several years ago.  He is originally from a small town outside of Chicago called Peru, Illinois.
