Experience the adventure of shopping in Gwinnett with its three regional malls and its downtown shopping havens. Whether you enjoy hunting for bargains at factory outlet stores or spending an afternoon at the mall, you’ll find these opportunities and more waiting for you in Gwinnett County. There’s no reason to shop anywhere else!
Gwinnett Place Mall originated the flood of shopping in Gwinnett when it opened in 1984 at Pleasant Hill Road/I-85, Duluth. Gwinnett Place features major department stores Macy’s, Parisian, JCPenney and Sears. Shoppers also have more than 220 specialty shops.
Travel a few miles north to Buford and you’ll find the Mall of Georgia between I-85 (at Exit 115, S.R. 20 West) and I-985 (at Exit 4).
The Mall of Georgia is as much an entertainment complex as it is a shopping mall and features Dillard’s, JCPenney, Belk, Nordstrom, Macy’s, and more than 200 specialty shops; the Village Pavilion stage; a 20-screen theater and IMAX 3-D theater; Kidgits Korner play area in the Nordstrom wing; and NASCAR Silicon Motor Speedway simulated NASCAR racing center.
The consummate bargain shopper will not want to miss Discover Mills, located off I-85, exit 108 (Sugarloaf Parkway), featuring the best names in manufacturer and retail outlets, off-price retailers and specialty stores.
Major retailers are Bass Pro Shops, Burlington Coat Factory, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Off 5th, Sun and Ski Sports, and SEARS Outlet Store. The mall also features Jillian’s entertainment and dining megaplex, the 18-screen AMC Theater, and the Medieval Times dinner theater.

There is a multitude of other shopping venues in Gwinnett, including Norcross’ friendly, open-air Forum on Peachtree Parkway shopping center, featuring Barnes & Noble, Belk, Talbots, Eddie Bauer and other quality shops.
Also in Norcross, the Global Mall offers a variety of specialty and ethnic foods, clothing, jewelry, handicrafts and services. Nothing punctuates a rewarding day of shopping like a leisurely lunch at a local bistro or an elegant dinner at one of Gwinnett’s fine restaurants. Gwinnett has a variety of eating establishments to choose from, many of which will also cater special events.
From a quick bite from any of the mall food courts to a hotdog, onion rings and Frosted Orange from The Varsity in Norcross to a special romantic dinner at Château Élan in Braselton–it’s all available in Gwinnett.
