Sports & Recreation

Athletes of all types come to Gwinnett to swing at the county’s golf courses, splash at Lake Lanier, and romp and play in numerous recreational activities at county parks and facilities. Gwinnett County leads the way in hosting many of Atlanta’s metro sporting events, including the annual PGA BellSouth Classic and the Petit LeMans Endurance Road Race. The Gwinnett Center’s multi-purpose Arena, is second only to Atlanta’s Philips Arena in size and is technologically its equal.
