Gwinnett Chamber Strategic Goals

The Gwinnett Chamber’s vision is simple – it’s about success. To help you as an individual succeed, help your company succeed and help our community succeed. That’s why our community’s motto is “Success Lives Here.” And the Chamber’s servant-leadership role in creating opportunities for success is evident in our motto, “In Business For You.”

To achieve this, the Chamber regularly reviews numerous annual business plans as well as our long-term economic and community development, strategy, called Partnership Gwinnett. The Chamber’s overall strategy is focused on three key strategic goals:

Creating Jobs and Wealth
The Gwinnett Chamber’s Economic Development team works with more than 100 public and private partners under the direction of the Partnership Gwinnett strategy to help existing businesses grow and expand and recruit quality businesses and high-wage jobs to Georgia, Metro Atlanta and Gwinnett. Creating jobs generates more wealth for existing businesses and residents and expands our local tax base.

Strengthening Our Community
The Gwinnett Chamber’s Public Policy team works to improve and strengthen investments in the local and regional community to ensure our high quality of life continues. To do this, the Gwinnett Chamber is an active and effective advocate on issues including infrastructure (transportation and water); education and workforce development; revitalization and redevelopment; healthcare; arts and culture; and protecting our pro-business environment. The Gwinnett Chamber is a key player on these issues locally, regionally and at the state level.

Growing Your Business
To be successful in our job creation and community development efforts as a non-profit, the Gwinnett Chamber relies on the support of our members, of which nearly 85 percent are small businesses of 50 or fewer employees. In return for their dues and sponsorship investments, we offer more than 30 unique and impactful programs and 250 events each year designed to grow our member’s businesses, networks and leadership skills. In addition to programs, we also offer a variety of discount programs designed to cut expenses and business costs for our members – from health insurance to workers comp to office supplies and more. By taking advantage of all of our discount programs, the average member’s savings typically pays for the annual membership investment.
