Georgia Chamber President & CEO Chris Clark gave a State of the State Address at the June ON TOPIC meeting, at The 1818 Club. Clark presented Georgia Chamber’s 8 for 18 initiative, which seeks to assist both policymakers and voters to make informed choices. This platform represents the priorities of business leaders of all sizes and defines what it means to be a “pro-business” candidate. While each candidate may have their own unique perspective, the Georgia Chamber feels it is essential that our elected officials address the following priorities in 2018. Each candidate for Governor and Lieutenant Governor will have the opportunity to provide details about their approach to addressing the 8 priorities.
