ACCE, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, has awarded Membership Development Manager Sandy Richardson with its Lifetime Sales Achievement Award for the Million Dollar Circle ($1 million in sales). Only two people throughout the country were recognized with this high honor.

Richardson joined the Gwinnett Chamber in 2003, but first as a member while in the mortgage industry. What began as something she was heavily involved in, even serving as a Chamber Ambassador, soon became a career when she joined the membership services team in 2007.

“I saw the writing on the wall for the real estate and mortgage industry and wanted to work at the Gwinnett Chamber because it had worked so well for me. I wanted to mentor other businesses on how to build relationships and take advantage of all that the Chamber had to offer,” said Membership Development Manage Sandy Richardson. “I love that every day is fresh and exciting, and I have the ability to help and connect so many people in so many different industries.”

“Sandy’s achievements over the past 11 years have been remarkable, earning her the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and now Million Dollar Circle status with ACCE,” said Senior Vice President, Membership Services, Vince DeSilva. “She is a great asset to our members as well as our community.”

In addition to the Million Dollar Lifetime Achievement award, another Membership Development Manager, Megan Lesko, was honored with a Lifetime Sales Achievement award in the Platinum category ($750,000 in sales) and the 2017 Annual Report was recognized with a Communication Award of Excellence.

The Circle of Champions Sales Contest, Lifetime Achievement and Communications Excellence awards were presented during the 2018 ACCE Annual Convention in Des Moines, Iowa.
