The Gwinnett County business community continues to grow at a rapid pace and keeps attracting a highly qualified workforce. According to Georgia Department of Labor statistics, there are more than 382,000 Gwinnett residents employed out of a total Gwinnett labor pool of about 400,000.

 

The county is home to more than 700 manufacturing companies, more than 1,200 high-tech companies and more than 410 international companies.

 

The booming population, projected to increase by 39.5% by 2010, supports numerous retail and service companies.


The Georgia Department of Labor Career Center in Gwinnett offers job market information, access to Internet job search, resources, job search and resumé preparation assistance, education and training programs and sources of financial assistance, and services such as unemployment insurance benefits and disability resources. The Career Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
