Economic Development Assistance

This department encourages the expansion of existing businesses through information services, real estate assistance, tax and incentive assistance, labor assistance and programs while continuing to solicit and provide services to new commercial and industrial businesses in Gwinnett. Resource Center
Conveniently located in the Gwinnett Chamber building, this center provides an amazing amount of business-ready information for FREE. Entrepreneurial Development Certificate Program (for start up businesses in first three years of business)
The Entrepreneurial Development Certificate Program is hosted in conjunction with the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center that brings leading professionals and emerging business owners together during an eight-week course. The curriculum is designed to prepare entrepreneurs with information resources and techniques to operate a business successfully. The curriculum incorporates marketing, finance, legal issues, personnel and management, accounting, taxes, business planning development, international business and procurement, and concludes with a graduation. 770-232-8816. Executive Roundtables (for CEO’s or Marketing Executives)
These groups serve as an exclusive association of dynamic business leaders designed to build business knowledge and increase their productivity and profitability. They provide confidential peer group forums for entrepreneurs, executives and business owners to discuss business issues, exchange ideas, offer suggestions and share expertise in a structured setting.
