Since the company’s founding in September of 2009, we have obtained over $12 million in grant funding for our clients. The company was acknowledged as the 2013 Amazing Entrepreneur by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and a finalist for the 2015 Small Business Award, Impact Regional Business Award.
An integral component of Palmetto Grant Consulting’s culture is civic engagement. This is reflected throughout the company with our team’s involvement as volunteers and board members in a wide range of organizations. The CEO has participated on a number of levels in the following groups: Gwinnett County Rotary Club; Artworks! Gwinnett; Gwinnett Neighborhood Leadership Institute; Leadership Gwinnett; City of Sugar Hill Public Arts Commission; and City of Sugar Hill Business Alliance.
Our team members are engaged as board members with the following associations: Alliance for the Prevention and Treatment of Nicotine Addiction; Virginia Credit Union; and Cornell Club of Washington, DC. Volunteer experience includes Odyssey of the Mind, Atlanta Care Center, Birthright International, Fulton County Arts Council, East Atlanta Kidz Clubs, Anacostia Watershed Society, Casey Trees, Arlington Food Assistance Center, Capital Area Food Bank, and numerous public schools and churches.
