Rainbow Village is a long term comprehensive housing program that provides fully furnished homes and comprehensive support services for homeless families with children in North Metro Atlanta. Rainbow Village began in 1991 as an outreach ministry of Christ Episcopal Church in Norcross, GA with seed money of $25,000 from a parishioner who wanted to honor his mother by doing something to help the homeless. Over the past 21 years Rainbow Village has emerged as a recognized program that does what temporary shelters cannot – we permanently break the cycles of homelessness, poverty and domestic violence and give homeless families with children in north metro Atlanta a fresh start in life.
