Tech Corner kicks off at Grayson High School

The Grayson Technical Education Program at Grayson High School offers 11 different career-oriented pathways for high school students to study and earn certifications prior to entering college or industry. The newest program, Entrepreneurship, is excited to open the first school-based enterprise, Tech Corner. Students in the program will gain the experience of starting, managing, and experiencing the daily operations of a small business. The store offers a variety of snacks, beverages, and apparel for purchase. Tech Corner will also promote sales of products and services for other programs, such as culinary catering, custom print and design services, computer diagnostic and repair, and commercial photography. Skills learned by operating the business and collaborating with other programs to serve the community, will assist the young entrepreneurs in their own business ventures. Upon conclusion of the entrepreneurship program, students pitch their personal business concepts to local angel investors for startup capital. We are looking forward to serving the school and local community. To learn more, visit graysontechcorner.com.
