The 1818 Club, Gwinnett County’s premier private business and social club, located in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce building on Sugarloaf Parkway, has announced an upcoming renovation to its main dining area. Bringing in elements of an upscale supper club, the Norsan Restaurant Group will take over the management of all food and beverage service for the facility.
Pat McDonough, Board President of the 1818 Club, stated, “On behalf of the entire 1818 Board of Directors and staff, I am thrilled with the exciting developments taking place at our club. Beginning late-October, the 1818 Club will offer premium meats, hand-crafted cocktails, and first class service in a sophisticated supper club atmosphere.”
The Norsan Restaurant Group owns and operates local favorites like Luciano’s Ristorante Italiano and the Zagat-rated Pampas Steakhouse. Working closely with the Board of Directors for the 1818 Club, they will revitalize the region’s premier gathering place for business with an atmosphere that encourages all guests to sit and stay awhile. The award-winning culinary team will also cater breakfast and lunch with an expanded menu featuring classic dishes and delightful new flavors.
The 1818 Club, which prides itself on connecting businesses within the community, will retain its private membership status. Only members will have access to the club for breakfast and lunch, and will maintain exclusive use of the backroom bar and Capital Member’s lounge at all times. After 5 p.m., the main dining room will begin opening to the public under the name Frankie’s – The Steakhouse. To better serve members as well as their business partners and families, Frankie’s will offer dining service seven nights a week.
