New program delivers success, Creates unique networking opportunities

The Gwinnett Chamber Sporting Clays Tournament, presented by Jackson EMC, crowned its first-ever team and individual winners on Wednesday while offering more than 70 participants the opportunity to network over breakfast, lunch and a friendly day of sport-clay shooting.

The competition, held on Garland Mountain sporting clay course, allowed shooters to safely flow through stations each laid out in natural surroundings with rolling hills, woods, and a magnificent view of the Georgia mountains. Winners included Asa Carlton, Inc., third place team, Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP, second place team, and first place team went to MST. The day’s Overall Shooter was Brad Campbell with Pattillo Construction who shot a 90 out of 100.

Additional sponsors of the sporting clay tournament included Georgia Power, Hogan, First American Bank & Trust, Anderson Tate and Carr, Partners Risk Services, LLC, and MST. Next year’s sporting clays tournament will be held on November 16, 2022. Check back on www.gwinnettchamber.org/events for future details and registration in 2022.
