The Gwinnett Chamber honored elected officials in Gwinnett County at the chamber’s 15th annual Key Leadership Reception at the 1818 Club. Presented by AT&T, the annual hob nob event brings together elected officials from the federal, state, and local levels to connect with business leaders in Gwinnett. County Commissioners, Constitutional Officers, judges, city officials, school board members, members of the Gwinnett House and Senate delegations, elected members of the state’s executive branch, and representatives from the offices of members of Congress were in attendance.

Also recognized during the event were members of the chamber’s Public Policy Advisory Committee, a group that meets monthly to hear from elected officials and foster discussions that impact business. When determining its support for, or opposition to, legislation or policy, the committee is guided by the public policy agenda and whether the legislation or policies support or hinder economic development, job creation, and workforce development, among others.
