Gwinnett Chamber issues statement on Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks’ service to Gwinnett County

Gwinnett Chamber Chairman Doug Jenkins and President & CEO Nick Masino issued the following statement regarding Gwinnett County Public Schools Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks’ service and commitment to Gwinnett County:

“The Gwinnett Chamber is thankful to Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks’ for his many years of dedication to the success of our Gwinnett County school system and the children it serves.

Our exceptional school system has been a key factor in attracting a strong and diverse business community. The success of Gwinnett County is a result of a long history of public and private entities working together for a common goal and no goal is more important than preparing the leaders of tomorrow.

We look forward to working with the Board of Education as they seek to attract a new leader who will continue to show a commitment to educating our youth and ensuring that Gwinnett County continues to be a great place to do business, work and call home.”
