Rainbow Village has been helping homeless families get back on their feet since 1991! Our transitional housing program assists families for up to two years by providing:

·       A safe place to live in one of 30 apartments on our campus in Duluth
·       Empowerment training for adults in the areas of workforce development, financial literacy/economic education, success coaching, and life skills workshops

·       An on-campus after-school program and an early childhood development center

A broad base of community support is a key element of our success in giving the homeless families we serve a second chance. Our membership and involvement in local civic organizations like the Gwinnett Chamber allows us to educate the community about the needs of homeless families, provide opportunities for the community to volunteer, and form partnerships with those who can help us change the community and accomplish our mission of breaking the cycles of homelessness, poverty and domestic violence through collaboration and/or funding.
